We were so fortunate when, 11 years ago, Katrina was recommended to us!

At the time we had two puppies that because they were siblings, made training by rookies almost non existent! We didn’t even think they knew their own names! Anyway, 6 weeks with Katrina and we had puppies with manners!

Fast forward, we just recently adopted a 5 month old puppy. She came to us sweet but with lots of baggage! Enter Katrina! Our little Betty is celebrating her one year adoption date with us and, along with her big brother, she has lovely manners!

Katrina is so sweet and gentle with the dogs and showed us how to use our voices to get what we needed from our pups!  We can’t recommend her enough!

Changed my world!

To anyone who is looking for a dog trainer…I highly recommend Katrina Walton!  I have taken group training lessons before, and while they helped to give me some of the basics, I found I was lacking the knowledge specific to me and my dog.  That’s when I called Katrina and she changed my world!  She came to my home and taught me techniques that were specific to me, my dog and our environment.  Not only is she knowledgeable, but she is a very kind, patient and loving person!  I am now confidently equipped with the tools to lead a happier and richer life with my dog!  If you need help with any kind of dog training, I highly recommend you call Katrina!

Katrina is a dog trainer known for raising well behaved dogs.

I have used her with 2 of my dogs now. Our first dog Toro was well behaved because of her, we are now on our second dog and he’s just as amazing as our first was.

How embarrassing to be told by a stranger that she’d be happy to give me the name of a dog trainer! Well, little did I know that my out of control French Bulldogs, could truly become the pets I had always hoped for! Katrina came to our home and asked what our goals were and also, our biggest problems. Up to that point, I couldn’t turn the vacuum on without them going crazy! After just one session with Katrina, Bubba and Bella knew to “sit and stay” while they watched me vacuum. They became such good listeners and quiet neighbors. Now, when I see unruly dogs, I’m the one passing out Katrina’s information! Also, Katrina is our beloved dog sitter! We book Katrina before our trips because if she can’t take care of the pups, we don’t go!

Annabelle is my 1 1/2 year old Yorkshire. From the time I brought her home, she would not listen to me and would have nothing to do with me. She spent her time with our older male Yorkie, Woodrow, and ignored me completely, even barking at me when I reached to pet her. She was so cute and I wanted to be her friend but she wanted no part of that.

A friend told me about Katrina and in desperation, I contacted her. Katrina has taught both Annabelle and me about training.

Annabelle loves her lessons, responds wonderfully and has become a happy adjusted best friend. Now she follows me everywhere, curls up quietly by my side when i sit down and stretches out beside me in bed. Katrina is our miracle worker and I look forward to every lesson.

I took Katrina’s in home basic obedience course and I was amazed how in just five weeks of following her program I was able to teach my dog the basic commands.

Our 2 cocker spaniels were out of control, disobedient, impossible to walk, and very aggressive towards each other.

The situation was nearing unbearable and with several failed personal training attempts it was time to seek a professional. I’m happy to report that in just 5 short weeks our girls have been transformed. The training was stress free, pleasant, and enjoyable for us all. I now very much look forward to our walks and it’s a priceless sight to see my two girls becoming sisters again.

I have a German Shepherd puppy named Sadie. She just loves Katrina! Sadie took to her immediately, (and so did I). She understood a command by the end of the first lesson. Katrina is very thorough, from quizzing you on the kind of toys you have, on food and treats, to leaving you with clear written instructions of the day’s lesson. She is very focused and professional. This was the first time I ever trained my pet. I was thrilled with the entire process, and even more so with Sadie’s behavior. Thanks Katrina!

Katrina came highly recommended by a close friend. I reached out to Katrina before I even had my puppy because I wanted to give my puppy the best start. Katrina came on a weekly basis and helped to train our puppy, but even more importantly the owners! She guided us through basic obedience commands, helped with food decisions, and gave us homework so that we could continue building upon what she taught us during the lessons. Katrina helped me with many different issues that popped up during the first couple months; I texted her several times asking for guidance and she was always happy to share her wisdom. Not only is Katrina extremely knowledgeable when it comes to training dogs, she’s a lot of fun to work with! We plan to continue working with Katrina in the months and years to come.

We had no idea what we were supposed to be doing, and our potty training efforts were unsuccessful. Katrina came in and relieved all our anxieties. She was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We were amazed at how quickly our puppy learned with her training techniques.
